Our guidelines
Health content has to meet Australian advertising rules and be safe to rely on. The full detail is in the contributor guide.
Evidence-based and general
Explain what is known, say when it varies, and avoid advice that depends on one person’s situation.
No testimonials or stories
Do not include patient stories, reviews or case studies that could identify someone.
No promotion or guarantees
No offers, discounts, superlatives or promised outcomes, and no sales pitch for your clinic.
Be clear about limits
Include when to see a doctor and what you cannot know from an article.
Declare your interests
Tell us if you have a financial link to anything you mention.
We edit for you
We may edit for plain English, length and compliance, and you will see changes before publishing.
Topics we need
Pick one, or tell us your own idea in the form.
Submit your article
Read the contributor guide first. Your article must follow it to pass screening. We reply within five business days.
Common questions
Do you pay contributors?
No. Writing is unpaid, and there is no charge to contribute right now. In return, your article carries an author box with your verified registration and a link to your website. If we introduce paid options later, we will tell you before you submit a new article.
Who owns the article?
Once published, the article belongs to Physios Near Me. You hand over the copyright, so it cannot be republished on your own website or anywhere else. You are always credited as the author. You only sign the short contributor agreement if your article passes screening, before we publish.
Can I link to my clinic?
The author box at the end of the article includes one link to your clinic website. It is the only link you get. We do not allow links or promotion inside the article itself.
What if my article does not pass?
We tell you why. You can make one round of edits and resubmit. If it still does not meet the guide, we will decline it with feedback.
